Walter E. Bass, 68, of El Dorado, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock.
He was born October 31, 1941 in Smackover to Wiley Mack Bass, Sr. and Ethel Wisinger Bass.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife Kaye Bass; and three brothers Wiley Mack Bass, Jr. James C. Bass Sr., and Billy Bass.
Survivors include his son, Scooter Bass and wife Laurie of El Dorado; two daughters, Tonya Lynn Allen and husband Lane of El Dorado, and Shanna Renee King and husband Jeff of Junction City; one grandson West Miller; two granddaughters, Ashley O’Barr and Rylee Bass; and one great-granddaughter, Kaylynn O’Barr.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Young’s Chapel with Dr. Denny Wright and Dr. Dwayne Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 23, at the funeral home.
