Biography

Tamra Barnes, 69, of Norphlet, went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 23, 2010, at Medical Center of South Arkansas.

Born June 24, 1941, in White Hall, Illinois, she was the daughter of John Dean and Edith Irene Brannan Goodall. She loved rocks and collected bird houses. She enjoyed her dogs and cooking. She was a member of Gates of Glory church and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one infant child, Julia Renee.

Survivors include her husband, Glen Barnes of Norphlet; two daughters, Johanna McDaniel (James) of Norphlet and Cris Christaldi (Dino) of Smackover; five grandchildren, James McDaniel, Brandi Anderson (Willie), Ashley Vedder, Kiera Christaldi, and Alli Christaldi; two brothers, Terry and Tony Goodall of Manchester, Illinois.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
